Order LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player

I was looking for a machine that would play media over ethernet, and this is not it. I don't know what I'll do with it now, but it definitely does not perform as advertised vis a vis UPnP media servers which it is supposed to be able to access. So far, it is the single crashiest piece of electronics I have ever seen; it crashes nearly any time I attempt to access any of the UPnP media servers on our home network. So far, extremely disappointing performance in this area, regardless of other nice features.

I have tested every major DLNA media server available for OS X, attempting to play standard video_ts folders. This machine doesn't work with -any- of them. It also cannot see shares from OS X, samba or not. When it will play a vob file, such as a menu, the remote cannot navigate in any useful way, including selecting 'play'.

The remote, in general, is... substandard.Get more detail about LG BD 390 Network Blu-ray Disc Player.
